The Realization

I am currently sitting down in my chair and realizing that I am in an extreme serene state of mind. Everything is so clear, everything is perfect, everything is illuminated.

Life is only a process that we deal with on a day to day basis. Waking up, eating, working, leisure activities, and every thing we do is a part of this simple thing we call our lives. Experience however, is the only thing that truly matters. One can live a thousand lives, but it would be meaningless without experience. It is with this mentality that I bring forward for you today.

Many in this day and age treat life as a ritualistic process that involves a cycle of work and leisure that will leave one thirsty for more. Many however have become numb to this thirst, and this is the biggest tragedy affecting our society today. The repetitiveness of life and what is expected of us have robbed us of experience and the ability to dream big. Where are those dreams that you had as a child to become an adventurer, pirate, dinosaur, or even some sort of mythical creature? They have died.... They have been consumed by what society wants from you. Society tells you that you need a 40 hour job in order to be successful and ACCEPTED by society. Society thinks of these things to be childish dreams, but in retrospect are they really childish? Is not experience in something new key into new opportunities and the opening of the mind? Does not experience teach us about the complexities and the true meaning of life? I believe so. I mean in the end, it is experience that has brought us this far in life, but it is these repetitive tasks later in life that tie us down from growing more as human beings. As soon as you realize it, you have become old, decrepid, and a hollow shell of who you once were. We humans forget about our dreams so quickly, it is only those of us that remember that become great to humanity. All of our greatest thinkers and scientists were people that embraced experience rather than meaningless life. It is these thinkers that have brought us so far, and I have begun to realize that I need to embrace experience more than anything else in life.

To be a romantic and dream, is better than to become a scholar who thinks he knows everything.

Everything revolves around one thing,

Experience...
